ABOUT US

Black Olive Cooks is a new partnership based at the Lumen Centre situated within the heart of Bloomsbury. Lumen is an oasis of calm in central London and the cafe is a beautiful light open space where customers can relax, enjoy good food and feel unhurried. The space is large enough to accommodate gatherings of friends and community groups and is a perfect venue for meetings, conferences and workshops.

This RIBA award winning building was completely refurbished in 2009 to the highest standard and includes artwork commissioned from Alison Wilding RA and rising artist Rona Smith.

At the side of the building is a gallery space that is offered free to artists and photographers on the understanding that a commission is taken for any works sold.
